Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria The CACGV is a not-for-profit umbrella arts organization that promotes artists of all disciplines. Dear Emily A Unique Resource for Peer Assistance is a visual arts advice List Serve created for visual artists to help each other. It works like this: you register, and when you have a question (about art materials, finding a studio, selling used equipment, marketing, copyright, artist health, or whatever) you send your question to the List Serve. Address your questions, once you are registered, to "dear_emily@eciad.ca".
Every artist who registers with the List Serve will receive your question and you will receive one or more answers from your peers. All registrants will see your question and all the answers. The project is sponsored by the Emily Carr Institute Alumni Society. To register, simply send an email to majordomo@eciad.ca and type "subscribe dear_emily " in the body of the email.
