Phase Two: Animation 201C: “Advanced Animation — Elements of Storyboarding”
Take a look at how the real animation industry makes up a storyboard for a series like The Simpsons. (We have the actual storyboard for one of the real episodes for you to study and see how it’s done.)
Now comes the time to create your very own one minute (minimum) storyboard with characters that you have designed.
The “character walk cycle” is your animation’s main focus. Begin to learn all the ToonBoom Software called “HARMONY” that is used widely in video, TV, and advertising industry production.
Making an animated film is a group process: especially when it comes to producing commercials for TV and film ads. You’ll get a taste of real-world production by engaging in a class project.
Offered Winter 2012, every Friday for 12 weeks. Class begins January 6, 2012. Tuition 201C course: $812 includes software
